Griggs Elementary School came alive with emotion, creativity, and cultural pride during its Gallery of Dreams celebration—an unforgettable event highlighting the stories and dreams of the amazing mothers in the UHD Bilingual E-Library program 💫.As a special surprise, families gathered to watch a recorded play based on one of the storybooks the moms had written during the semester 🎬✨. Every mom participated in the production, bringing their story to life on screen and showcasing their growth in English and Spanish 💬. At the end of the video, parents and grandparents sang along to “The Wheels on the Bus” 🚌🎶, adding a joyful and heartwarming touch to the performance.Before the food was shared, several moms delivered powerful testimonies about how much they’ve learned through the library classes and how the experience has empowered them to support their children, build community, and pursue their dreams 💖🌠.Attendees admired the Family Trees 🌳 created by each mom, each one a colorful reflection of heritage, values, and aspirations. These personal projects reminded everyone of the strength found in family and tradition.After the speeches, everyone gathered to enjoy a shared international meal 🍽️🌎—featuring Salvadoran pupusas 🇸🇻, Mexican pozole 🇲🇽, and Italian tiramisu 🇮🇹.
