UHD Bilingual E-Library Responds to Alarming National Reading Decline
The recently released National Report Card in Reading 2025 revealed a troubling trend: reading scores across U.S. grade levels continue to decline, with 12th-graders showing the most concerning results. According to the report, half of all high school seniors nationwide are now reading at “below basic” levels, signaling an urgent need for action in literacy education.At the UHD Bilingual E-Library, we believe that literacy is the foundation of opportunity.
